Product Development
The recent development of a new generation of soft products requiring knolwedge and expertise of textile, cothing and related industries has led me to be increasingly involved with leading product design consultancies and innovation companies.
My relevant expertise and flexibilty allows for varying degrees of involvement in the product development process from concept to manufacture including incorporating technology into soft products.
Mock-Ups:
Responding to design briefs by creating mock-ups; as quick explorations to presentation standard or as prototypes for manufacture.
Sourcing:
Sourcing of fabric and related fittings from manufacturers and retail outlets.
Development:
Working as part of the design development team or as an independant consultant for soft products that often include interfaces with rigid and/or technical elements.
Design:
Design and development of customized fabrics for specific applications.
